Rights release
This is what you grant by submitting an entry, and what stays yours. It is the release the consent checkbox on the entry form refers to.
You keep your work
You keep ownership of your performance and your recording. Submitting does not transfer copyright, and it does not stop you posting the same video anywhere else.
What you grant
A non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to review and store your entry, and — if it clears review — to show it on the contest board alongside your name and city, and to use it in the campaign's own promotion of the contest.
The licence lasts as long as the entry is part of the contest. It ends when the entry is withdrawn or the footage is deleted.
What you confirm
That the performance is yours to submit: original lyrics, or a performance you have the right to record and share. That everyone who appears in the video is aware it is being submitted to a public contest. And that you are 18 or over.
No obligation
Being on the board, or at the top of it, is not a promise of a place on stage. Young Thug and YSL choose the performer, and they are not required to choose anyone from the board.
